Previous NBA player Javaris Crittenton waived California extradition proceedings Wednesday and will be returned to Georgia in link with his arrest in a murder circumstance in Atlanta.
Crittenton appeared just before Superior Court Judge Upinder Kalra and explained he had voluntarily signed the waiver.


The Los Angeles County district attorney's office had charged Crittenton with being a fugitive from justice for the purpose of keeping the extradition-waiver listening to.
Defense legal professional Brian Metal explained outside court that Crittenton had earlier agreed to return to Atlanta voluntarily and had even purchased a plane ticket, but regulation enforcement authorities decided to arrest him anyway.
Steel stated he would like to get his consumer again to Atlanta to obvious up the issue.
''Crittenton needs to do everything lawful due to the fact he did absolutely nothing,'' the attorney mentioned.
Steel mentioned his client is getting falsely accused and the facts will occur out at the preliminary hearing.
Crittenton was taken into custody Monday night at John Wayne Airport in Orange County.
Police in Atlanta had obtained a murder warrant for Crittenton in the Aug. 19 shooting of Jullian Jones, 23, a mother of 4 young young children, as she was walking with two men.
Crittenton, 23, was wished on a federal arrest warrant right after the FBI discovered that he traveled on a one-way ticket to Los Angeles, in which he was acknowledged to have loved ones and buddies, several days after the shooting.
Jones was outside her home with eighteen-yr-old Trontavious Stephens when a black Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid pulled up and gunfire erupted. Authorities have said they will not imagine Jones was the intended target, but they have not mentioned whom they think the assailant was right after.
Crittenton was with the Washington Wizards in December 2009 when he and teammate Gilbert Arenas had a dispute above a card sport. Two days afterwards, Arenas brought four guns to the locker place and set them in front of Crittenton's locker with a indication telling him to ''PICK 1.'' Crittenton then took out his individual gun.
Crittenton pleaded guilty in January 2010 to a misdemeanor gun charge and received a 12 months of unsupervised probation. Arenas entered his responsible plea on Jan. fifteen, 2010. He served a quick time in a halfway home.
Crittenton is on the roster of the NBA developmental league's Dakota Wizards.
