Previous NBA player Javaris Crittenton waived California extradition proceedings Wednesday and will be returned to Georgia in link with his arrest in a murder case in Atlanta.
Crittenton appeared prior to Superior Court Judge Upinder Kalra and explained he had voluntarily signed the waiver.


The Los Angeles County district attorney's company had charged Crittenton with staying a fugitive from justice for the goal of keeping the extradition-waiver hearing.
Defense legal professional Brian Metal explained outside court that Crittenton had previously agreed to return to Atlanta voluntarily and had even purchased a airplane ticket, but legislation enforcement authorities determined to arrest him anyway.
Metal said he would like to get his consumer back to Atlanta to distinct up the make a difference.
''Crittenton would like to do everything lawful due to the fact he did practically nothing,'' the legal professional said.

Police in Atlanta had acquired a murder warrant for Crittenton in the Aug. 19 shooting of Jullian Jones, 23, a mom of four young kids, as she was walking with two males.
Crittenton, 23, was needed on a federal arrest warrant following the FBI discovered that he traveled on a 1-way ticket to Los Angeles, in which he was recognized to have loved ones and friends, a number of days soon after the shooting.
