LIMA -(Dow Jones)- Peru's major stock industry indexes ended blended Thursday as different mining firms moved in opposite directions. The broad General Index closed .28% weaker at twenty,639.47. The blue-chip Selective Index ended .55% more robust at 29,045.84. Copper producer Sociedad Minera Cerro Verde SA (CVERDEC1.VL) elevated 3% to end at $ 41.00. Base metals miner Southern Copper Corp. (SCCO, SCCO.VL) closed one% decrease at $ 33.36, although tin miner Minsur SA (MINSURI1.VL) declined one.five% to conclude at 3.35 soles ($ one.23). Meanwhile, the sol closed slightly weaker Thursday at PEN2.729 per dollar, in contrast with PEN2.727 for each dollar in the past session.
